Honda RC105 Monkey
Michael started his tiny Monkey "RC" flavoured project some years ago and behold...
recently I received a mail containing pictures of the finished project.
Cool!
The little racer was build around a '73 Minitrail Z50AK4 frame.
The stock swingarm had some extra length added.
Alloy 3-spoke Ecoshop wheels with 3.5-8 Duro tyres made the stock steel wheelrims and Monkey hubs redundant.
Low racing style handlebars with Kitaco controls replace the typical Monkey bars.
The rear fender is a stock Z50J1 item but the front fender, gastank (with a Monza gascap) and racing seat are alloy one-offs made for this bike.
Power comes from a hopped-up Jincheng 4-speed 105cc motor (52x49,5) with a 20mm carb and vintage Kitaco STD exhaust with the internals removed...
The machined "OHC" camcover as well as the clutch inspection cover are custom made.
Wallbro 20mm carb with a Kitaco manifold and Takegawa stack..
One-off gastank by alukotfluegel.de with Monza flip-up filler cap.
The seat and gastank are painted GM/Opel "Marsrot" making the bike an instant classic.
Note the replica Lucas 525 taillight.
The Smiths speedometer is from a India Enfield..
